One thing I pride myself on is my lasagna. It tastes really good, my mom requests I make it all the time when I was back home, and I like making it for anyone that comes to visit.
I want to share the recipe with you:
Ingrediants:
1 lb. Italian Sausage
16 oz container cottage cheese
16 oz container ricotta cheese
2 jars italian sausage spaghetti sauce
2 16 oz packages mozzarella cheese
1 package lasagna noodles
Glass Casserole Dish
Preparation:
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Layer 1 jar of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of the glass casserole. Cover with lasagna noodles.
Fry up the italian sausage! (In the meantime, mix together the ricotta and cottage cheese together in a bowl then spread over the lasagna noodles. After the italian sausage is cooked, layer half on top of the cheese mixture then use one package of mozzarella cheese and layer over the italian sausage.
Add another layer of lasagna noodles, then layer the other jar of spaghetti sauce over the noodles, then layer the other half of the italian sausage then add the other package of mozzarella cheese.
Cook in the hour for 1 hour.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving and enjoy!
