Jacuzzi Family Vineyards!

Posted by on August 1, 2012

Of all the wineries I visited while in Sonoma, my favorite was Jacuzzi Family Vineyards.  This winery is only 5 years old, and yes, the name Jacuzzi, it is the same family that created the famous “jacuzzi” we all know and love.

On the weekend that we attended the vineyard, they were celebrating their 5 year old birthday.  They provided free wine tastings (which included 5 tasting cups), tasting’s from their library wines, and catered cheese and meat trays throughout the grounds.

Not only is this vineyard known for their wines, they are also known for their Olive Oil Tastings.  They truly have a bit of everything.

And now it’s time to share some of my favorite pictures from my visit:

The outside grounds from the front.  Quite beautiful as you drive up to it.

The above picture was from inside the library wines room.  I was far too nervous to try any of these wines because I saw the price per bottle, and my wine knowledge wasn’t to that level yet.  I have to work up to this.  Have any of you tried a library wine before?  If so, what do you recommend?

Jacuzzi Family vineyards is where I finally got up my nerve to try a red wine.  I went with the Dolcetta, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.  The goal was to find a red I enjoyed, and I did succeed, but the glass above is (I should say WAS) filled with Prosecco ;0

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards also offered a chocolate shot for 2 dollars.  Red wine filled in a chocolate shell.  I did not try it myself, but watched as the people next to me enjoyed theirs.  Wine and chocolate, you truly can’t go wrong.

Happy Thursday everyone, and I hope I talked you into visiting Jacuzzi Family Vineyards if you’re ever in Sonoma, California =)
