Have you heard of Lyfe Kitchen before?  If not, let me introduce you.

Lyfe Kitchen is on a mission.  They want you to: “Love Your Food Every Day.” Lyfe Kitchen has five core values they’re sticking to:

LYFE tastes great. Every recipe from our LYFE Kitchen is crafted to delight your taste buds.

LYFE is good for you. Every single ingredient in LYFE is natural.

LYFE is ready when you are. One of our main goals at LYFE Kitchen is to help you find less time-consuming ways to eat great tasting, nutritious food.

LYFE lifts you up. We realize there’s more to an abundant life than what you eat. So we also provide a steady diet of inspirational fuel for the mind and the soul.

LYFE loves life. Our sourcing and supply chain processes are designed with a “sustainability first” approach.

So how are they helping to achieve this?

One: Restaurants

Lyfe Kitchen has a restaurant chain available.  And a recent restaurant has just opened up in Culver City.  I, myself, can not wait to try it out.

Two: Frozen Foods

Lyfe Kitchen has come out with a variety of frozen food meals available to you at your local grocery store.  These meals focus on breakfast and dinner entrees.  From meals such as: Steel Cut Oatmeal, Farmer’s Market Frittata, Oat Bran Ricotta Pancakes, Southwest Breakfast Wraps, Chicken Chile Verde, Orange Mango Chicken, Whole Grain Pilaf, Nine Grain Pilaf, and Whole Grain Penne Pasta.

So I tried out a few:

First up: The Whole Grain Penne Pasta.

I have to admit, this wasn’t my favorite of the meals I tried out from Lyfe Kitchen, but one thing I loved about this frozen meal is that the pasta was whole grain, and of course, I loved how the meatballs tasted.

Next: Steel Cut Oatmeal

I was a little hesitant about trying a frozen oatmeal with fruit, but I was pleasantly surprised with this meal.  The fruit couldn’t have been more perfect.  And the oatmeal was a great combination.

For a person that isn’t the best at eating a full breakfast, these frozen meals are great.

And last but not least: Orange Mango Chicken

What’s great about these meals is that they come in a steamable pouch.  You cook it how you like, and then you cut the pouch open and it pours out perfectly on your plate.  The picture above is exactly how it poured out of the package.   This Orange Mango Chicken is my favorite.

So, have I sold you on Lyfe Kitchen?
