Last Thursday evening the Anaheim Garden Walk filled up with some of Anaheim’s favorite restaurants.  For one night, residents, and surrounding fans could enter the Anaheim Garden Walk at one low price and taste some of the great food coming from these Anaheim Restaurants.

Taste of Anaheim

This year marked the 18th annual “Taste of Anaheim,” and the weather, although cloudy, made sure to stay clear throughout the night.

Live entertainment included Detour 91,  Bostyx, DSB and Aerorocks.  While the music was playing guests walked around the Garden Walk to try various samples of foods, dessert included.

But really, I know you’re wondering about the food so here it goes:

Rainforest Cafe had their booth fully decorated including a bubble blower.  Their famous Volcano dessert was on hand, and they were handing out these wonderful samples.

The Ranch Restaurant had the longest line of the evening, and were handing out Racks of Lamb along with these beautiful desserts featured above.

And of course, The Grand Californian showed up and had a pretty amazing display of these lovely “S’More Treats.”

Disney’s PCH Grill showed up and showcased their “Albacore Asian Salad.”  The combination was GREAT together.

But my favorite dish of the evening came out of “New Orlean’s Square.”  Their main dish of Gumbo Soup in a bread bowl was quite fantastic, but it was their dessert that had me going back for seconds and thirds:

Banana Fosters Cheesecake

This dish truly had my taste buds craving for more after, and has inspired a future baking dish for me.

Other restaurants on hand that evening included: La Brea Bakery (who handed out loaves of bread,) House of Blues, ESPN Zone, Flo’s Cafe, Rockin Taco, Rubio’s, The Melting Pot, Slater’s 50/50, Dave & Busters, Marie Callendar’s and more.
