Worth a Napa Stay: The Silverado Resort And Spa

Posted by on February 20, 2016

This past December my beloved and I booked a romantic weekend getaway at the Silverado Resort & Spa. We included it with our nightly dinner excursion on the Napa Valley Wine Train.

Upon arrival, we pulled up to the Silverado, and literally realized it was a complete resort where maps were needed to help you locate your room, and all the amenities that are apart of the area.  We walked through the main building to check in, and take in the views of the resort. Of course, they were all decked out for the holidays.

If you love golfing, they have their own golf course attached to the Resort, where many golf lovers come for a day’s or even weeks outing.

They also have a luxurious Spa, where you can book massages, skin treatments, and more during your stay, or even to plan your day at the spa.

There are room sizes for all group outings, whether it’s a romantic escape for 2, or a complete family outing, there’s rooms to accommodate all needs.

We stayed in a small 2 person room, but it was perfect for the two of us: This is the Cottage Room Premium.

We also loved our little Patio area outside the room.  If it wasn’t a rainy weekend we would have enjoyed our morning out here.

Our Recommendation: Although we loved our 1 night stay at the Property we both felt that to truly enjoy the resort, and all that it has to offer, a long weekend, or even a FULL week stay is what this Resort deserves.  You will go home feeling completely rejuvenated.

We highly recommend staying here during your Napa Valley Travels.  Close to Downtown, along with the beginning of Silverado Trail.

We also recommend stopping into The Grill at Silverado on the weekends for their brunch.  A nice offering where you can easily pair your meal with a Mimosa, or coffee.  They also offer a full service lunch and dinner menu.
