From the time since I was a small girl I don’t recall a Christmas where Hickory Farms wasn’t apart of it.  I remember the gift baskets, and cutting open the smoked sausage and cheeses that complemented them so well.

And when I was older every holiday I would frequent the Hickory Farms site to order my holiday gifts for the season.  My mom’s boyfriend particularly had a love for them.

I was very fortunate to receive the Toast the Traditions Gift Box, featured above that included:  Hickory Farm’s Signature Beef Summer Sausage, creamy cheddar cheeses, extra-large Crown Comice® & Red D’Anjou Pears, bright Fuji Apples, crunchy nuts and delectable chocolate-covered cashews, come to life when enjoyed with a bottle of La Crema Chardonnay.

We started out with cutting up the Sausage and Cheeses along with a few of the pears and apples:

The combination of the fruits, cheeses and sausage made for the perfect treat.  And, for me, the perfect complement to a before holiday meal.  The Toast to Traditions Box also came with a bottle of La Crema Chardonnay, which I was excited about, considering La Crema  is a local winery right in Sonoma County.

And for after dinner snacks, included almonds, cashews, and chocolate covered cashews to munch on.  This gift box had a little bit of everything.  I know I’ll be purchasing more Hickory Farm products this season, how about you?
