My Night in with Del Real Foods! and Giveaway!

Lately, I’ve been finding it harder and harder to come up with new ideas for dinner during those weeknights.  We come home tired, and the last thing we want to do is prepare a well made, balanced meal so we are always looking for ways to make the dinner making process a little faster.

So when I received this family pack from Del Real Foods, I couldn’t wait to try it out.  It’s funny how a package of meals can inspire you in completely new ways.

Our family loves Mexican Food, however, I am pretty clueless in preparing it myself, so when companies like Del Real Foods come out with my way to make a fun meal right at home, count me in!

Selections included Pupusas, Carnitas, Arroz, Tamales, and Shredded Beef.   The first night we decided to make an entire meal with Pupusas, Carnitas, Arroz and Tamales.

All the meals could either be cooked in the microwave or on the stove top.  I had fun making the pupusas:

But, the thing about the Del Real Foods packages were how easy they were to make.  The Arroz was just put right in the microwave along with the Carnitas and Shredded Beef.  The Pupusas were a bit more work over the stovetop, but done within a few minutes along with the Tamales.

But, in the end, a full made meal on a weeknight that took less than 30 minutes thanks to Del Real Foods.
