As an active young woman, once a month comes, and it also goes. Over the years I’ve learned how to combat it and make my life easier when that time of the month comes, but let me tell you, I’ve had a few mishaps along the way:

Unfortunately, that day, I wasn’t really prepared. As I walked to my bus-stop, I soon realized I was in big trouble so I kept walking to a friends house, and her along with her mom helped me for the day ahead (a day I couldn’t miss school since I also had a big presentation!!)
Luckily, I had a nice sweatshirt to put around my waistline to hide the inevitable. And that sweatshirt stayed on me the entire day including during my presentation. By the time I went home that day, I just wanted to bury myself in my room and cry my eyes out. If I was a bit more prepared, the day could have gone a lot more smooth.
Over the years I’ve learned to be prepared, but it comes down to the little things:
