As a wino, I have been in search for a great wine log to track the different wineries and varietals of wine I’ve been trying.  For me, visiting wineries is a weekly thing, so I needed a notebook that worked well for this system.  Something I easily could throw in my purse and be on hand at every visit.

Then in walks this beautiful Wine Log by Rustico.  Rustico is a company that makes beautiful leather bonded items such as journals, wine logs, bags, wallets, coasters and more. They also hand stitch everything giving it a very rustic feel.  Those extra touches are what make these items such great gifts.  The paper even looks handmade.  I was able to open the wine log right up and began jotting down my notes.

To the left there’s even an area laid out for you to add the wine label if you choose to remind you which wine it was that you tried.  Notes of flavors, characteristics, vintage, year and make, and extra room to add comments.  My notes above were for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc by Matanzas Creek Winery.  I loved their wines big time.

When I received my foodie pack by Rustico I knew I would be receiving a wine log, a beautiful bag and coasters, but didn’t realize how beautiful they were until I got them.

This package is great to bring with you on a picnic to one of the local wineries in your area.  Pack up the bag, the coasters, and the wine log then stop into a favorite winery of yours, buy a few bottles then slip them right into your bag.  The bag is made out of wool.

I could easily fit three lean bottles inside my Rustico bag.  But this bag is easy to carry a laptop in or even a notebook if you want to daydream and write while you’re at the winery.  My only suggestion would be to put something in between the bottles so they don’t bang against one another.

But the fun part for right at home are those beautiful coasters.  Whether you’re placing a bottle of wine on them or a few glasses of wine, these would look great on a coffee table.  Such intricate details are sewn into these coasters.

As you can see above.  This is the perfect gift for any wine lover.  Rustico puts so much detail and intricacy into their products it’d be hard for anyone not to love.  And once you receive the items you can see they’re completely worth the price.
