Summer’s going by pretty fast, but with about 8 weeks left there are still many more opportunities to travel this upcoming summer.  I’ve got some TIPS for you for planning that summer vacation outfit: Items shown throughout this post were picked up at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, CA.

1) Show YOUR Personality!

We each have a fashion style.  The summer is a time to show it especially when going on vacation.

2) ACCESSORIZE

Have fun with your accessories.  Think Flip Flops, Hats, Sunglasses, Jackets and more when it comes to the summer.  Even some fabulous BEACH bags are the perfect time to break out your fashionable style.

3) Dress in Comfort

There are a few reasons why I say this.  When on vacation, especially if it’s a long road trip you want to be comfortable in the car, while on the road, as get out to check out roadside attractions.  So, definitely dress in comfort.  This is where a GREAT Summer dress comes in handy.

Or if you’re not a dress person, bringing out the shorts or capri pants with a stylish, personality filled shirt.

4) Show a Hobby or Interest

This goes back to #1: Show Your Personality.  Summer is the time to let loose and show a bit of your personality with the clothes you choose to wear.  Whether it’s picking out a fun t-shirt with a GREAT saying, or an image on it that says YOU, or picking out a fun fashion accessory, or even picking out fun, stylish leggings.

5) Dress from DAY to Night

One thing that’s fun to do during the summer is to pick out an outfit that not only works for the day, but also at night.  Summer Dresses are great, in this case.  And it really comes down to how you accessorize.

A summer dress at the beach can easily be paired with a pair of flip flops, but when it comes time for the evening, dress the dress up with a jacket and more fashionable shoes.

Another great thing about summer is how affordable it is to dress Up or dress down.  All of the outfits above, found at Del Amo Fashion Center, cost 60 dollars, that includes the flip flops, shorts, kitty shirt, hat, and summer dress.

Summer in the Vineyards: Paso Robles

Disclosure: This is a non-sponsored posts, but this is part of my Summer in the Vineyards series.

I have not been to Paso Robles, but it is on my must visit places especially when it comes to local wineries within California.

I did a bit of research and have come up with this list of wineries to visit:

If you love concerts, be sure to check out the Vina Robles Amphitheater, and plan your time there during a one of kind concert experience.

Another GREAT place to take in a concert is The Mountain Winery.  This winery also has an amazing outdoor amphitheater that hosts a variety of concerts throughout the summer.  This winery’s located in Saratoga, CA.  (This is about 2 1/2 hours away from Paso Robles, but since we were talking concert venues had to mention this winery!)

When it comes to Paso Robles, there are a variety of wineries in this region, and there is no way to hit ALL of them in one visit.  Check out this page for a pretty in depth listing of all the wineries.

And when in Paso Robles, make sure to take a visit to Hearst Castle, and afterwards stop at this winery: HammerSky Vineyards and Inn.  It is one of the most well known photographer vineyards in the past 100 years.  This vineyard specializes in Caberet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel.

The name of this winery caught my eye: Bella Luna Estate Winery.  A small family vineyard that has a very unique style when it comes to fermenting their wine, but it’s that style that so many seek after.

Four Sisters Ranch (Serena’s Vineyard)

Four Sisters Ranch, another intriguing name to me planted Syrah and Cabaret grapes.  They also make Merlot varieties.  They were also recently present at this year’s Calabasa’s Food and Wine Festival.  They planted in 1989 and are still growing.

Peachy Canyon Winery is a small, family owned winery.  For those that love Zinfindels this is the winery for you as they specialize in them.  This winery has been owned and operated by the Beckett family since 1988.  They also specialize in the red variety.

There are so many more wineries to look through and explore with each one sharing their story of how they began and the varietals they’ve chosen to grown.  Enjoy exploring around Paso Robles, or if you’ve been, share some of your stories with me below.

Getting In Touch with Flips Headphones! #ad

Disclosure: I was provided headphones for free for review purposes.

When it comes to the new age of technology I can no longer keep up.  When it comes to headphones, I will be the first to admit I don’t know a whole lot, but when this opportunity came my way I was more than happy to try them out and give an honest review.

And I was blown away by these headphones.  Not only are these Flips headphones comfortable as heck around my ears they also stay on tight with little movement.  I’m not begging to take them off the minute I put them on.  Also, nothing is going inside of my ear (love even more!)

But the coolest thing about these headphones is that they also work as speakers.  With just a flip of the ears they are instant speakers.  That is pretty incredible if you ask me.

To see how they fully work check out the video below:

Like I mentioned in the video above.  The Flips headphones retail at 120 dollars here.  But for YOU, my readers, we have this discount code for 10 dollars off through July 16th.  This also includes upgraded RUSH shipping for free:  FA0010INT

If you have any questions below feel free to ask and I will answer the best I can.

Disclosure: I was provided with FREE headphones for this review.
