Disney on Ice: Treasure Trove is coming to the Southland May 1st through the 12th.

Treasure Trove will take our favorite Disney characters on a scavenger hunt.  A variety of stories are planned with over 50 Disney characters in appearance.  Follow along with The Lion King, Peter Pan, Alice and the Wonderland, and Snow White.  It will definitely be a fun show.

Celebrate Queen’s Day at Home Depot Center and Chance to Win!

Queen’s Day takes place on April 28th, 2013 this year.  What is Queen’s Day?

Queen’s Day is a traditional holiday in the Netherlands that honors and celebrates their Queen Beatrix.  This year marks the final reign of Queen Beatrix as she will abdicate reign to her son William-Alexander and his wife Princess Maxima.  They will begin their reign on April 30th.

So, this Queen’s Day is even more special as it’s the last year to celebrate and honor Queen Beatrix’ reign.

This event held at the Home Depot Center will teach children about the heritage and culture of the Netherlands.  There will be look a likes of Queen Beatrix and son William-Alexander to take pictures with, live music, a flea market, traditional dutch games, a bouncy house and more.

Children and adults are invited to come dress as a princess(prince) or Queen.  The Dutch national color is Orange.  So dress up in your best orange for a shot to win the Miss Orange pageant.  Anyone 12 or older can enter the contest.

Don’t Forget: Pet Family Expo at the @ocfair This weekend!

If you have a love for animals and looking for something to do this weekend stop by the OC Fairgrounds for the Family Pet Expo.

1000 of animals will be in attendance from fish, dogs, cats, rabbits, miniature horses to exotic lizards.  I know, for myself, I can’t wait to see them all.

Get up close to your favorite animals, shop some of the latest products, and learn a bit in the process.

Disney’s “Super Buddies” to celebrate the all-new film coming to Blu-ray combo pack on August 27 th.  Attendees will get the chance to take their photo with Captain Megasis, an adorable four-legged super hero who stars alongside everyone’s favorite talking puppies

Additional pet celebrities attending the Expo include: Mick who plays “Stan” on Dog With A Blog; Beatrice who plays “Stella” on Modern Family; Lambchop who plays “Yakult” on Suburgatory; Milo who plays “Baby” on How to Live with Your Parents; and Frosty who plays “Larry” on Modern Family.
