Book Review: My Journey as a Combat Medic Ends 02/08/2013

My Journey As a Combat Medic

This book follows the true story of “Patrick Thibeault” as his 20 years as a combat medic in the field.  It showcases the true standpoint from being in a war, and also the realities of retirement, and being in the comfort of his own home.

I really enjoyed this book because it was a true account as to what goes on behind the scenes during war, and it was all reality.  It is a reminder for us all to really honor and thank those that have served in the war.

I also wanted to take the time to read this book because these are the kind of books that my SO enjoys to read, anything and everything about war.  This is one that I am passing onto him.

And now one of my lucky readers has an opportunity to win a copy of this book in PDF form.

The fun of kushyfoot! #spon

What is kushyfoot?

leopardshoes

Have you ever gone to a wedding, been on your feet all day, and by the end of the night you’re taking your shoes off?  Well, these Flats to Go are your solution.  You can easily carry them in your purse as you bring them for a night out, to a special occasion celebration, and when those feet get tired, pull them out for instant comfort.  That way you’re not walking around in bare feet or your socks.

KushyFoot 061

The other item sent from kushyfoot were their slipper socks.  Now, I am the type of person that usually takes my socks off the minute I get home.  Something about lounging around in bare feet, however, when I put on these slipper socks there was instant comfort.  What I really loved about them is how light they were around my feet so they kept my feet warm without feeling like there was anything there.  Perfect for those nights when your feet need warmth around them.

They were easy to wrap under blankets with, and even fell asleep during the night with them on.  For a person that wasn’t a fan of socks at home, these were ones I enjoyed lounging around in.

KushyFoot 056

kushyfoot has a variety of options on their site from flats to go to foot covers to tights to fun slipper socks to choose from.  The Flats to Go are just 9.99 a pair.  The slipper socks are 13.47 for 3 pairs.

They also have athletic, casual and yoga socks to choose from.

Disclosure: I was provided with samples of Slipper socks and Flats to Go to try out.  All opinions are my own.
