It’s funny.
When I first moved to LA, every day I tried to get out to the Ocean. It was a luxury to me, something I didn’t have back in Minnesota. So every day I’d go out and try to capture a sunset, and I’d find a new location to visit and observe, and be by that ocean.
But I realize now that I’ve been here over a year, I rarely take the time to go visit the Ocean, or to appreciate it like I once did.
I’m taking advantage of it.
Every now and again when I’m driving along, hitting my stores I get an urge to drive by the ocean. I have to stop myself and do it, and every time I do, I feel so peaceful afterwards.
It’s funny how life gets the best of us, and we sometimes forget the beauty all around us.
So, today, this is my tribute to the beautiful ocean, and how very fortunate I am to have this in LA, and where I now live.

Venice Beach
Point Vincent, Palos Verdes
It really is a beautiful site. One that we need to stop and appreciate more often. When was the last time you’ve been to the ocean?
