5 Reasons I love my Dell Venue 7!

#spon: I’m required to disclose a relationship between our site and Intel. This could include the Intel Corporation providing us w/content, product, access or other forms of payment.

When I first received my Dell Venue 7, I was beyond ecstatic.  This would be my first tablet, other than my kindle.  I’ve been curious about Intel Tablets , but was completely overwhelmed with all the varieties out there and what to buy.

Dell-Venue-7

I was also hesitant because I just wasn’t sure how much I’d use it.  Well, a month in and guess what?  The tablet is slowly but surely replacing my smart phone.

The first place I go for photos?  Yep, the tablet.

The first place I go to read?  Yep, the tablet.

The first place I go to watch videos? Yep, the tablet.

It has taken over my life, but in such a convenient way.  Now here’s my reasons as to why I love the Dell Venue 7.

Taking Photos

I covered this more thoroughly in a previous post, but one thing I’ve noticed is how the tablet truly captures all the colors in an image creating for some really spectacular photos:

Watching Videos:

I use to try to watch videos on my kindle, but I got so frustrated with the streaming that I gave up so I didn’t have good thoughts going in about videos on the tablet.

Boy, was I ever proven wrong.  The Intel inside the Dell Venue 7 has made a huge impact in the video streaming, and the quality of the videos is spot on.  So, yes, watching a movie in bed before bed is ohsoconvenient!

Fits Easily in the Purse

The tablet easily fits in my purse making it easy for on the go.  Whether I’m in the waiting room of a hair salon or hanging out at the beach, I can pull the tablet out and it’s right there.

Wi-Fi Abilities:

Easily connect to the area’s wi-fi and instant internet access.  What I’d recommend would be to purchase a hotspot so you’d have access all the time for when you need it most.

Instantly Connects to Google Apps:

When I first connected to my tablet it asked right away for my Google Account.  I plugged the information in and it instantly began to download apps I had on my android phone.

Some of my favorite apps instantly added: Instagram, Facebook, WordPress, Pinterest and many more.

It saved me the time from having to look them all up.

As I continue to explore with the tablet I’ll keep you informed.  If you have any questions about the device please ask below.

“No Matter Where I Go, I Go With Bigelow Tea”

This past weekend my other half and I went on an epic road trip along the beautiful Coastline of California. We packed up a cooler, our Bigelow tea, and fun snacks acquired at Walmart.  We explored all new territory along beautiful Half Moon Bay! If you have not been, it is an absolute must.

Before we went on our epic road trip we had to plan out a few things such as:

Planning our Snacks! #CollectiveBias

Planning-a-picnic

A great road trip has all the essentials.  Snacks, a hearty meal, and a GREAT beverage to drink.  This time around, we wanted something that was good for us while keeping us energized throughout our road trip.  That’s where Bigelow Tea came in.

We rushed off to Walmart to pick up all the essentials:

The night before our trip I made a huge batch of Chamomile Tea.  Chamomile has always been my favorite, a perfect bedtime tea, but also a great drink to have while on a road trip to calm those nerves and jitters on the road.  #AmericasTea

And then, of course, we had to route our map:

The next morning my other half WOKE me up, a true rarity.  We packed up the car, and our snacks, and of course our tea and then we were off.  The key was finding the perfect container to bring the tea around with us throughout the day.

Some tips when visiting the coast surrounding Half Moon Bay:

1) Stop at Pigeon Point Lighthouse!

The views surrounding the Lighthouse are pretty breathtaking.

2) Explore Around the Many Beaches throughout the Coastline!  (There’s a ton! Just pick one.)

3) Stop at Cameron’s Pub!

Yes, Salmon Jerky.  Or, if you crave salmon, they have that too.

5) Just Enjoy the Views!

Seriously, one of the most picturesque coastlines in California.  I’ve explored a ton.

coastlineSeriously, gorgeous!

Of course, a road trip isn’t complete without one final picnic to enjoy all those snacks and beverages.

Exploring Muir Woods!

I knew the Redwoods resided in Northern California, but I always thought they aligned with the Redwood National Forest, which is still a good 2 hours north from where I am.

But one day, I was exploring things to do around San Francisco and Muir Woods kept coming up in search. I soon learned that I could see the Redwoods within 45 minutes from where I lived,

and just 15, after a days work since I worked right in the area.

One day, I decided to trek up to Muir Woods. It costs 7 dollars to walk into the area, but completely worth it.

Some of my finds:

Walking in through the entrance.  You have no idea what’s about to take place all around you.

RedwoodsWalking through the Redwoods was a GREAT way to let go of all the stress from the day’s work.  Not only that, but as you were walking through the park, it was a pretty good workout too.

The best part was definitely looking up.

Truly, the work of nature. And it’s awespiring! If you haven’t been to Muir Woods, it’s completely worth the trip.

I just wish I would have had more time to really explore and enjoy my time amongst the Redwoods.

But I made sure to get at least one photo opp:

As dorky as I am 😉
