A fun, new single camera comedy is in the works. This show “NewlyWed and Broke” will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you remember those times when you were indeed NewlyWed and Broke. A couple that goes about life as Newlyweds focusing in on the financial hardships and job loss in very hilarious ways. Each new episode will showcase a new way they struggle to make and save money.
In honor of this new single camera comedy that is being funded through IndieGoGo I thought it’d be fun to share some of my “NewlyWed and Broke” tips:
1) Stock up on DOLLAR Sales.
Throughout the year the grocery stores often have 10/10 sales. Where items in this ad are indeed a dollar. So stock up on those grocery items. Often times items include: Rice Sides, Frozen Pizzas, Fun Snack Items, and Bite Size Cereals. No need to go hungry with these sales.
Or, on occasion, just shop the Dollar Store ;0
2) Shop the Clearance Section
When it comes to clothes shopping, it’s all about knowing when the seasons switch over, and when to shop those clearance sections. The days after Holidays, although busy, means great deals. When it’s Back to School time, even more, cheaper deals. And when the seasons switch into fall from summer, or from fall to winter, or winter to spring, items on the clearance rack on a must have.
And it also means to shop a size bigger if you have young ones so by the next season they’ll be able to fit into those items perfectly.
3) Stop Eating Out!
That’s just money adding up. Instead of eating out, how about just going to the grocery store and bringing items home. Start in the produce department. This section, not only healthy, but also some of the cheapest items you can find in the store. A DEAL to me.
4) FREE Date Nights.
Date nights on the Cheap! YES, they can happen. Whether it’s a FREE concert in the park, Summer Movies at the Beach or around town, or FREE Museum Admission Days, look for the deals around town, and make the date night FREE.
5) Sell Your Stuff!!
Look through your items and ask yourself, “what can I part with? then try your luck on Ebay or Craigslists… trust me, it does work! Extra money coming in. Cha-Ching!

Right? If you love eating out and seriously can’t go without it, stalk the heck out of happy hour menus to save yourself some money. Great meals for under 5 dollars. Nothing beats that!
