Envolve Winery!

Posted by on August 8, 2012

My friend Erin over at Horsing Around in LA sent me this notice when I flew off to Sonoma, CA.  At the time, I had no idea if I’d be making an appearance at Envolve Winery, but I made sure to keep an eye out for it.

Envolve Winery has made some pretty big headlines as Bachelor Ben is co-owner in this operation with his longtime childhood friend Mike.  They eventually added in another partner by the name of Danny, and the three of them took to their passions of wine as they continued to grow their line of Envolve.

Their tasting room right off of the Sonoma Square plaza opened up on the 4th of July weekend, and it was my last stop on my day of winery visits.  From the drive to the plaze from the other wineries I had a bit of time to sober up, and as I browsed around the shops through Sonoma Square, we finally settled into Envolve winery where I tried out one of their flights.

The epilogue flight was a flight of 3 tasting Envolve Wines.  The cost of the flight was just 5 dollars.

Because of my love of white wines, and the talk around town about the Sauvignon Blanc I decided to give it a go.  I also did try one of their reds, and that was the second red I truly enjoyed for myself that day.  I went into my wine tasting day not having one red I enjoyed on my list, so the day was truly a success.  Now, if I could only remember what red I tasted over at Envolve 😉

For more information on the options they have available at their tasting room location in Sonoma, please check it out here.

Have you tried Envolve wine before? What were your thoughts? I’d love to hear your take.  And Congratulations guys on your grand opening of the tasting room.  I wish you continue success!

This was my last stop on my journey in wine country.  It kind of makes me sad to end this series as I feel a void filling inside me.  I hope to make it down to Temecula, and up to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo area in the future.  If you recommend any wineries please tell me in the comments, and I will make sure to take a visit, and share my thoughts here with you.  =)
