With the temperature’s rising, now is the BEST time to hit a Waterpark, and let me tell you, after this weekend, I’ve become a huge fan of Waterworld California.

Some  Highlights:

Break Point Plunge:

Waterworld California’s latest Waterslide!  Break Point Plunge is just that.  AT the top you step into a small tube, and then there’s a countdown from 3…2…1…. a little bit of a wait then release.  The bottom opens up, and the slide shoots you down a few feet to the waterslide below!  One of the most unique waterslides I’ve ever been on.   A must try!

Crazy right?  I dare you to ride…

If you’re looking for something a little more calmer there’s always the Lazy River:

Doesn’t it just make you want to jump in?

If you want a little more seclusion while at the Water Park, investing in your own Calypso Cabana is the way to go:

Calypso-Cabanas

A nice treat for your family.  These Cabanas, available anywhere from 150-200 per weekend offer you your own secret place to rest in between water rides.  Includes 2 to 4 Inner tubes of your own, your own wait staff where you can order food directly from your Cabana, and a place to relax.  TRUST me, it’s the way to go!

Another huge favorite of the Water Park was Breaker Beach:

One of the BIGGEST wave pools around.  Waves go off every 30 minutes and there was always a big cheer when that buzzer sounded.

If you are more  of a family ride person, there are the Typhoon Tube Rides, where it requires a 2 person minimum, The Big Kahuna, and even the Tornado, a great family TUBE slide.  There’s fun for the whole family at every turn.

Even a place for wee little ones:

Or Lil Kahuna Waterworks for the tiniest of family members:

Needless to say, I found my new favorite spot this summer.
